Amy's Uncle, Chuck Levitan, of Miami Florida has always been an artistic inspiration to her. When she was a little girl, she would visit with him at his gallery in SOHO and was amazed by his talent.
A pioneer of Soho, he opened the Chuck Levitan Gallery in 1973, for 25 years, his landmark Gallery exhibited artists from around the world. Chuck Levitan, has had over twenty one-man shows and over 15 series, including Drawings on the Shroud of Turin and the Drawing series on Albert Einstein.
In February 2009, Chuck's work on Abraham Lincoln was displayed at Georgetown University's Law School.
